Skill Training for 40 Domestic Workers

Shanta, 43, has worked as a domestic worker for 25 years. Like her, hundreds of women in Chennai’s resettlement neighbourhoods are aging out of physical labour with no savings and no safety net. We train 100+ women every year in beautician work, millet foods, herbal skincare, bakery, embroidery, and housekeeping — certified courses that lead to entrepreneurship.

Perumbakkam Sports Programme — 348 Children

A 2-year programme training 348 children aged 12–18 across six sports — Carrom, Chess, Kabaddi, Karate, Silambam, and Throwball — in a Chennai resettlement neighbourhood where open ground and structured play are still rare. Certified coaches, equipment, nutrition, and tournament exposure included. Equal participation of girls in every sport.
