Many students, especially younger ones, were at risk every day while crossing the street.Taking up this concern, the Children’s Parliament drafted a petition requesting the installation of a zebra crossing. They collected signatures from parents and teachers and submitted the petition to the local municipal office.

The local authorities responded positively. Within a few weeks, a zebra crossing was painted in front of the school, and appropriate signage was also installed.Now, children can cross the road safely.
